European Music Day: Musical conversations

Wednesday 21 June 2017, at 20.00, Music School of Rhodes. On the occasion of the European Music Day (21st of June) the International Writers and Translators’ Center of Rhodes and the Music School of Rhodes in cooperation with the House of Europe in Rhodes held a special literature and music event entitled “Musical Conversations”.

Tribute event to the prose writer Thanasis Valtinos

Friday 26 May 2017, at 20.00, The Auberge of the Langue of Spain. In collaboration with the Peloponnese Association of Rhodes “O Morias” an event in honor of Thanasis Valtinos was held. Thanasis Valtinos is a renowned prose writer, academician and a former president of the Academy of Athens (the most important Greek institution for sciences, humanities and fine arts).

Educational programme with museum kits

2-10 May 2017. In cooperation with the Museum of Cycladic Art the museum kit entitled “Clothing in ancient Greece” was presented by the philologist Maria Spanou to pre-school and primary school children.
