Poetry book presentation: "Anacoda" by Dimitris Vasilakis

Presentation of the collection of poems “Anacoda” (Gavriilidis, 2018) by the famous jazz saxophonist and university teacher Dimitris Vasilakis. Speakers: Argyris Koskoros, IWTCR librarian and philologist and Vasilis Mantikos, civil engineer-poet. The following musicians played live: Dimitris Vasilakis-saxophone, Nestoras Vasilakis-saxophone, Aris Solomon-drums, Sassa Papaplambrou-piano, vocals, Nastasia Beikof-vocals and Monique Kabasele-vocals.

Training seminar on School Libraries

In collaboration with the primary education school counselors of Rhodes, Eleni Stavropoulou, Petros Spanos and Haralambos Psaras training seminar for the school teachers who are responsible for the libraries in ten primary schools on the island of Rhodes which have been entered the panhellenic school libraries network following the decision of the Ministry of Education, Research and Religious Affairs.

 In collaboration with the British Vice Consulate in Rhodes and the Jewish Community in Rhodes, presentation of the book “Villa of Secrets” by the British author Patricia Wilson. The novel tracks tragic events that took place in Rhodes during the WWII.
