Thursday 24 August 2017, at 20.30, “To Dentro” Book store. Presentation of the two-volume literary travel book “Against the sun” [«Αντίδρομαστονήλιο»] by Fotis Terzakis, author, translator and thinker, in collaboration with Panoptikon Publications, the literary and art magazine “Nisides” and the “To Dentro” book store. Speakers: Anastasia Zeppou, theology teacher. Moderator: Eurydice Kovani, journalist. The books refer to Fotis Terzakis’ travel experiences from Asia: Turkey, Iran, India-Himalaya, Indochina, China, Japan etc. They are not travelogues but literary travel novels written with consideration, political allusions and historical information. In August 2017 Fotis Terzakis stayed at the IWTCR guesthouse and worked on the translation of the book “Philosophie und Religion” by the German philosopher Friedrich Schelling. He also worked on setting down his recent travel experiences from Andalusia und Morocco that will possibly be published in the future.
