In collaboration with the literary and art magazine “Nisides” [“Islets”] and E&M Stamatiou Scholarship Foundation a two-day event entitled “Flaubert Days” was held. Saturday 29 September, 18.00-21.30, New Nestorideio Hall Wing. International one-day Meeting: “Gustave Flaubert, Journey to the East”. Speakers: a) Pierre-Marc de Biasi, researcher on Flaubert, Director Emeritus of the Institut des textes et manuscrits moderns of the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique of France (National Center for Scientific Research), b) Tatiana Tsaliki-Milioni, Professor Emerita of French Letters at the University of Athens, c) Lizy Tsirimokou, Professor Emerita of General and Comparative Literature at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Moderators: Jiannis Iraklidis, publisher, Georgia Zakopoulou, translator, member of the editorial committee of the “Nisides” magazine. Sunday 30 September, at 19.00, Auberge of France.
