On the occasion of the World Poetry Day that is celebrated on the 21st of March every year the International Istanbul Poetry Festival was held on 21-22 March organized by Bahcesehir University. The delegates invited from Greece were Nancy Tryposkoufi, IWTCR director and Eleftheria Binikou, translator, who spoke about the importance of the literary centres and especially of IWTCR. All the participants visited schools in the Municipality of Bahcesehir.

Συν επικεφαλής του δικτύου είναι η αστική μη κερδοσκοπική οργάνωση «Ενωμένες Κοινωνίες των Βαλκανίων», η οποία συνεργάζεται για την πραγμάτωση των στόχων του δικτύου.
