The Laografiki Archeologiki Eteria Elassonas was founded in 1977 in the city of Elassona and is the oldest and more active cultural club in the city with more than 250 members. The main activity of the association is the dance group of traditional dances, which, since 1978, represents Greece and the Greek "colors" at international festivals around the world. It presents traditional dances from all areas of the Greek region and in the region of Elassona and Olympus. Participation in European Youth for Europe and Erasmus programs, participating in meetings and exchanges of young people from 15 to 30 years old in European countries.
